Chloe Mulliner has more than ten years of professional writing and editing experience. She graduated from James Madison University with a BA in Media Arts and Design with a concentration in Print Journalism and a minor in Writing, Rhetoric, and Technical Communication. After graduating in the spring of 2011, she spent the summer backpacking in South America before making the cross-country move from Northern Virginia to Southern California.
Once she put down roots in San Diego, Chloe joined the agency life, becoming the first writer on the content team for a digital marketing start-up company, where she took on the role of managing editor for the Expedia travel blog and the AARP Travel Center blog. During her time at the marketing agency, she also edited and wrote content for a variety of other enterprise-level companies, including Expedia Canada, Hotwire, Travelocity, CarRentals.com, and Mint. In 2016, she developed the copy for an outdoor adventure microsite that earned the Gold Award for Branded Content & Entertainment Campaign, issued by the American Advertising Awards.
In 2019, with more than seven years of digital marketing agency experience, Chloe decided to embark on the freelance path. She has since expanded her writing repertoire, providing editorial and marketing content for brands in the insurance, wedding, travel, health, tech, and lifestyle spaces, such as The Knot, The Bump, Better Place Forests, Tawkify, and Charter Flight Group. Then, in late 2021, she joined the EZ Texting team, where she continues to happily write about all things technology and text marketing.
When she’s not busy wordsmithing, Chloe enjoys camping, rock climbing, and hanging out with her chunky tuxedo cat named Leonard.
